Okahune Chalet

An existing site in Ohakune has been subdivided and a new ski chalet designed to fit in the tight building envelope.

A rustic look with a contemporary twist was designed with the use of exposed timbers and schist used on the exterior and interior of the chalet. With 2 bedrooms, a loft, 2 bathrooms and drying facilities, the chalet can accommodate a family or small group.

The chalet was completed in late 2008.
